JOIN IN TO SAVE OUR GOVERNMENT!
WE NEED TO ELECT PEOPLE LIKE YOU!
We can't wait any longer! The government from the top down keeps digging a deeper hole with debt. The progressive experiment to create a Utopia is a complete failure. It is our human nature to compete and care, not commune.
For the last forty years interest rates were lowered and debt encouraged until we are at 0% and only the government could take on debt with a printing press!
We need people in government that are not experts, political science majors, or lawyers. We need what worked until the 1960s and that is common folk in different areas.
We need Joe the Plumber who is an illegal contractor,
we need the nail salon proprietor that opened in San Leandro since Oakland banned salons,
we need the GM car mechanic that works out of his driveway since he was laid off,
we need the common people to enact the laws so that they work for us, not because it was advised.
What we need to do now:
- Convert all state offices back to part time with no pensions. Health benefit option selection to the top 3 in use by private employees.
- No budget for staff, advisers or consultants, this advice is free from your peers. Have an online page to connect to the constituents.
- Remove all state mandates unto counties and states.
- STOP siphoning money from locales. I would rather each county decide on how they want to expend their money. A patch work of ideals created from the counties.
- Dismantle the Sacramento political machine so that local cities and counties can decide for themselves what economic religion they wish to follow.
- All money or in kind collected by the State and locales is considered a tax. The State uses the term "Fee" to skirt the law. A "Fee" collected is a tax.
- All foreclosed homes must go to public auction within 3 months. The foreclosed owner has first rights to purchase the house at auctioned price. This will discourage stripping of homes. Going to auction will cut down on unscrupulous Realtor s selling homes inside a circle. This will also get us to a true bottom faster.
- School voucher system. Only US citizens or residents are given a yearly school voucher. Parents and students will vote with their vouchers on which schools will survive.
- Reduce the State Sales Tax to 1.5% and let counties and cities collect their local tax.
- Tie welfare to a formula on how long a person has worked. Cap at 2 years for a 20 year interval?
- No Corporate Franchise Tax for corporations making less than say $50,000. These are usually mom and pops trying to create a business.
- Determine how the state can re-impose the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act, California is huge and can impact the rest of the country.
Do YOU want to do what we need? Vote for me as Governor of the State of California. I have experiences in a wide swath of industries and won't need experts! I will come calling on you when I need to be educated. We also need people like you to become legislatures. Having me as Governor will do nothing since I would be the Executor. People like you as the legislature are the only ones that can right OUR Government again! So come on and join!

Odd couple for Deregulation |

Goldman Sachs is what happens when the Democrats and Republicans both see a need for deregulation. The Democrats so that poor people don't have to come up with 20% down for a home loan and the Republicans for more corporate freedom and free market (which only works if you let coporations fail that are too large to succeed). The deregulation of financial companies started in the 70's and really took off in the 90's with Bill Clinton. W. Bush and Democratic controlled congress acceleterated the process. Obama put the final touches (don't forget he comes from a Financial Banking up bringing with his maternal grandmother). http://economicspolitics.blogspot.com/2009/07/deregulation-by-democrats-responsible.html http://www.thedeal.com/newsweekly/features/big,-big-and-beyond.php http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/17/opinion/17krugman.html

California Fiscal Crisis Fix |

California elected officials will have two weeks after a determined start date to deliver a balanced non borrowing budget or else total recall to argue your case to your constituents. We mean all elected officials. Otherwise a total recall initiative will be launched so that elected officials will explain to their constituents why they haven't passed a budget and demonstrate their ability to do so in the future. All elected members must start the new session with passing the following resolutions: - Define pay of elected officials as the median salary in the state (porably between 40-60K) and the political position is part time.
- The legislature has ~1400 aids representing ~$230 million in salaries a year. This has to be reduced to one or two per official.
- Benefits can only be chosen from medicare and the top two available to private workers in California.
- Any money or in like collected by the state will be defined as a tax. Such as VLF, permits, etc.
- Convert state legislature pensions to 401k or equivalnents. Strike from the constitution language guaranteeing state workers pensions. ~12% of CAs budget is going to the pension fund. Please visit a recent initiative thwarted here.
Wishlist: Decentralize collection of money. Instead of all taxes going to the state general fund from counties, let the counties decide what their priorities and culture is like. Let local counties decide what services and laws they wish. Having elected officials that are not legal or political science majors would lead to more laws in touch with the population. People from all walks of life on both the Democrat and Republicans should strive to be elected officials. Lobbying would be to the whole legislature; not on an individual basis. More like a presentation and then Q&A that is in a public forum. How can you help? Attend IRC and MSN meetings to start the groundwork. Each person tell 20 people to attend the IRC/MSN meetings. Need Joomla admins, event coordinators, experienced political ogranizers. Ultimately wish to schedule coordinated state wide parties for the two week deadline to end at 8 PM on a Friday. We will collect signatures for a total recall and/or ballot measures for the above mentioned points.
